Abbie's SummerFresh Mocktail

  • 3 min read

This one is all Abbie. She created it as her go-to summer drink, something that felt festive and fresh without any of the stuff that works against your body. It's become one of the most-loved recipes in the A & A community, and once you make it, you'll understand why.

The Recipe

Abbie's Summer Fresh Mocktail

Antioxidant mocktail · Serves 1

Ingredients

  • ½ cup no-sugar pomegranate juice

  • ½ cup no-sugar cranberry juice

  • ½ cup coconut water

  • Juice of 1 fresh lime

  • Pinch of salt

  • Ice

  • Optional: tahini rim

For tahini rim: coat the glass rim with tahini and dip in a blend of sesame seeds and a pinch of salt.

Instructions

  1. If you're doing a tahini rim, prepare your glass first: spread a thin layer of tahini around the rim and dip into sesame seeds. Set aside.

  2. Fill your glass generously with ice.

  3. Combine pomegranate juice, cranberry juice, coconut water, and fresh lime juice in a pitcher or shaker.

  4. Add a pinch of Uahi Sea Salts of Hawaii and stir well to combine.

  5. Pour over ice. Add a small splash of half & half if you'd like a creamy, layered effect. Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy immediately.

⚡ Abbie's Hydration Tip

This one is already a hydration star! To take it even further, add a pinch of Hawaiian Sea Salts and use fresh-squeezed lime rather than bottled. You could also add a small splash of aloe vera juice for extra cellular hydration and gut support, your cells will thank you.

Why It Works

🌸 This is our most antioxidant-rich recipe in the series, and it's entirely Abbie's creation. Between the pomegranate, cranberry, and lime, you're getting a remarkable concentration of vitamin C, polyphenols, and anti-inflammatory compounds in one beautiful, zero-guilt glass.

Abbie built this drink with intention, she wanted something that felt like a treat but pulled real weight for the body. Every ingredient was chosen for a reason, and the combination is hard to beat.

💎 Pomegranate Juice

Ranked among the most antioxidant-dense juices available, with three times the antioxidant activity of red wine and green tea. Pomegranate supports heart health, reduces inflammatory markers, and contains punicalagins that actively protect cells from oxidative damage. Choose no-sugar-added varieties for all the benefits without the blood sugar spike.

🫐 Cranberry Juice

Long celebrated for urinary tract support, cranberry juice is also rich in vitamin C and compounds called proanthocyanidins that prevent harmful bacteria from adhering to tissues. It supports kidney function and helps the body's natural detoxification pathways, an important consideration during your Restoration Program.

🍋 Fresh Lime

Despite being acidic outside the body, lime is alkalizing once metabolized, helping to neutralize excess acidity that contributes to inflammation. It's also rich in vitamin C to support immune function, and its citric acid helps drive minerals and water into cells more effectively. Always use fresh-squeezed when possible.

🥥 Coconut Water

Nature's electrolyte drink. Coconut water is naturally rich in potassium, magnesium, and sodium, the three minerals most critical for cellular hydration and nerve function. Unlike most sports drinks, it contains no artificial additives and provides a natural sweetness that makes this mocktail taste like something special.

🧂 Salt

The unsung hero. A pinch of mineral-rich salt, like Uahi Sea Salts of Hawaii, creates the osmotic gradient that pulls water and nutrients into your cells rather than simply passing through your system. Combined with the natural electrolytes in coconut water, the salt in this drink turns hydration from passive to active.

🌾 Tahini (Optional)

More than just a beautiful rim, tahini adds a dose of healthy fats alongside calcium and magnesium, two minerals that support muscle function, nerve signaling, and bone health. The fat also helps your body absorb the fat-soluble antioxidants in the other ingredients more effectively.

On Hydration & Electrolytes

Antioxidants and hydration work together

Most people think of hydration and antioxidants as separate conversations, but they're deeply intertwined. Oxidative stress (the cellular damage from free radicals) depletes water from the cells, increases inflammation, and slows the very repair processes your Restoration sessions are activating. Antioxidants protect the cell membrane, keeping it permeable and responsive to hydration. A well-hydrated cell is a cell that can actually absorb and use the antioxidants you're giving it.

This mocktail does both at once: it loads you with polyphenols and vitamin C while providing a natural electrolyte matrix that gets water where it needs to go. That's why it's our hydration star.
