The original all-day sipper: zingy, detoxifying, and deeply refreshing

Abbie and Amber make this one all the time, it's that kind of drink. Zingy enough to feel like a treat, simple enough to throw together in two minutes, and good enough for your body that you'll feel the difference when you skip it.
📖 Recipe credit: This A&A Bioenergetics staple was originally created by Trim Healthy Mama. We've added our own hydration boost for your Restoration Program.
The Recipe Good Girl Moonshine
All-day quart sipper · Makes 1 quart (GGMS)
Ingredients
1–2 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
1 tsp ground ginger (or fresh ginger juice)
Stevia to taste
Optional: extract of your choice (vanilla, lemon, berry, etc.)
32 oz water or cooled fruit-flavored herbal tea
Ice cubes
Instructions
Add the apple cider vinegar, ginger, stevia, and any extract you're using into a quart-size jar. Pour in a small splash of water and stir to combine.
Fill the jar with ice cubes, then pour in water or your cooled herbal tea of choice until it reaches the top.
Stir well, taste, and adjust to make it your own. Sip throughout the day.
🌿 Variations
Use sparkling water instead of still for a fizzy version. Swap water for a fruit-flavored herbal tea like hibiscus or berry for a change-up. Fresh ginger juice can replace ground ginger for a brighter, stronger kick. Double the recipe for a 2-quart sipper to share or get ahead for tomorrow.
⚡ A&A Hydration Boost
Swap plain water for coconut water as your base or add a pinch of Hawaiian Sea Salts. The natural potassium in coconut water paired with your sea salts makes this a serious electrolyte powerhouse, supporting cellular hydration.
Why It Works
There's a reason this recipe has been passed around wellness communities for years. Every ingredient earns its place, and the combination is more than the sum of its parts.
🍎 Apple Cider Vinegar
Raw ACV (with "the mother") is one of the most researched natural digestive supports. It helps balance stomach acid, supports healthy blood sugar levels after meals, aids the liver in detoxification, and creates an environment in the gut that beneficial bacteria love. Its acetic acid content also has natural antimicrobial properties.
🫚 Ginger
One of the most potent anti-inflammatory foods on the planet. Ginger actively reduces inflammatory markers in the body, soothes the gut lining, reduces nausea, and supports immune function. For anyone dealing with chronic pain or inflammation, ginger is a daily non-negotiable.
🍵 Herbal Tea Base
The choice of herbal tea transforms this tonic into something more. Hibiscus adds powerful antioxidants and supports cardiovascular health. Chamomile calms the nervous system and supports sleep. Peppermint aids digestion. Choose your base based on what your body needs most that day.
On Hydration & Electrolytes
Your gut is your second nervous system
The gut-brain connection is one of the most significant discoveries in modern biology. Your digestive system contains more neurons than your spinal cord, and the health of your gut directly influences your mood, energy, inflammation levels, immune function, and even how well your body absorbs the nutrients it needs to heal.
That's why supporting gut health isn't a side project in your Restoration Program, it's central. When your gut is working well, everything else works better. Elimination improves. Energy improves. Your cells get the nutrients they need. And the inflammation that's been blocking healing begins to quiet down.
